Foundress of the Congregation of the Daughters of the Cross, a disciple of St. Andrew Fournet. Jane was of noble birth, but she committed herself to the service of others. Her congregation was designed for teaching and hospital service. She died at Le Pay, Poitiers, France, and was canonized in 1947.
