St. Adrian, Abbot
Died: January 9
Born in Africa, Adrian became abbot of the monastery at Nerida, near Naples. He declined an appointment as archbishop of Canterbury, but accompanied St. Theodore to England when the latter was appointed Archbishop. Theodore appointed him Abbot of SS. Peter and Paul Monastery (later changed to St. Augustine's) in Canterbury, and during his thirty-nine years' abbacy, the monastery became renowned as a center of learning. He died on January 9 in Canterbury, and his tomb soon became famous for the miracles wrought there.

St. Adrian pray for us. Intercede for A.M.E that he may become a man of faith. May he live a life according to God's will and love Jesus Christ with all his heart. Please pray that he's able to resist any temptation that is keeping him from having a relationship with Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Give him the discernment and strength to stay away from evil.
Africa is a big place. Where in Africa was he born? Thanks for all that you do to help us learn about the saints.
Dear St. Adrian, You showed us the true meaning of sanctity & holiness. Please do pray for me.
St. Adrian, pray for us. Dear Lord Jesus, Son of God, we adore, love and worship You. In baptism, we became children of God. Sanctify us daily through the sacraments. Make us holy each day in thought, word and deed, that we may love Thee daily more and more. Forgive us our sins. Amen.

I agree with Joseph regarding the dates and, if possible, more pictures would be great. You might even allow readers to upload photos or links to, say for example, places relating to the particular Saint, such as their burial location or holy sites. I really enjoy reading about and being inspired by a Saint every day. Thanks for providing this service.
it would also be more of interest to list the sort of miracles from the saints or near the tomb as of the saint from today.
It would be helpful if the dates of birth and/or deat would be included in all reports of saints. Keep up the good work and thanks for all the info over the years.
