Bishop and disciple of St. Patrick. In 433, he was named to be the first bishop of Dunsaugli, Meath. He was later the assistant bishop to the metropolitan in Armagh. In honor of St. Patrick, Seachnall composed the first Latin poem of the Irish Church, the hymn Audites, Omnes Amantes Deum.
