Attalia was abbess of St-Stephen's convent in Strasbourg (now in France). The convent eventually was converted in a school as a counterreform answer to the founding of the Jean Sturm Gymnasium. The high school, still directly under the bishop's authority keeps a relic of the saint. Being an alumnus of the school, I am thankful for the excellent education I was dispensed.
