St. Anastasia III
Died: 304
Martyr honored with a special commemoration in the second Mass celebrated on Christmas Day. She is also included in the Roman canon of the Mass, although she was not venerated in Rome until the end of the fifth century. Probably a native of Sirmium, Pannonia, she was martyred during the persecutions initiated by Emperor Diocletian. Tradition states that she was the daughter of Praetextatus, a noble Roman. She married a pagan named Publius, who died while on a mission to Persia. As a widow, Anastasia cared for the Christians, enduring persecution, and was arrested herself. On a ship with other prisoners, Anastasia was miraculously saved from drowning by St. Theodata. The prisoners, including Anastasia, landed on the island of Palmaria, where they were burned to death. She was made patroness of a basilica in Rome in the sixth century.

I have chosen this saint. Saint Anastasia really struggling, This website was okay, I guess it isn't the best but it has given me a bit of information, wish you had more information and other stuff like her feast day, etc.
Thanks!
Merry Christmas! Some share a birthday with Christ, but this saint shares a Feast Day that even nonbelievers celebrate throughout the world. I am very happy to say that I named my daughter after this wonderful woman and every Christmas wish my Anastazia a very special Feast day and Christmas. I pray that my little girl becomes daily like her always encouraging and preserving in love with Christ. My daughter at this writing voluntarily works in an Appalachian safe house caring for children living in abusive families. This morning in St Louis on this Christmas she is home with our family and I am very proud of her. St Anastasia pray for us and merry Christmas!
im making my confirmation now and i wont the name anastasia but after reading this i still have absolutly no idea on what she did to become a saint ????????
U really need to put a Representative Symbol of Saint Anastasia on this website. Some people are doing confirmation right now, they need to do a poster on a saint.
