Named 'Logik,' rapper asked girl for obscene video in which he reciprocated

It was a sick incident that highlights what's going on around the eyes and ears of semi-attentive parents. A British rapper who goes under the stage name of "Logik" asked a 14-year-old girl to pose an indecent 60-second video of herself to which he promised same. He's since been found out - and authorities are very displeased.

The girl, who can't be named for legal reasons, accepted a friend request from rapper Logik, whose real name is Kyle Burns.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - The girl, who can't be named for legal reasons, accepted a friend request from Logik, whose real name is Kyle Burns.

Burns began chatting to her and, a month later, asked her to send him an indecent video of herself, promising to send one back in return.

SAVE Iraqi Christians from Genocide --

The girl recorded a 60-second clip of herself on a mobile phone and sent it to him. Her face was visible in the film but in the video Burns sent her, he kept his face hidden.

The 19-year-old Burns of Newarthill, Lanarkshire, then emailed the girl and asked her to delete the film he sent her, to which she agreed.

He promised to do the same with the clip she had sent him. Shortly afterwards, one of the girl's friends told her the clip was on the internet.

The friend reported the video to staff at her school, who called police. Burns appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court, where he admitted distributing or showing indecent pictures of a child between January and June 2010.

Sheriff Joyce Powrie yesterday deferred sentence on Burns and placed him on the sex offenders' register.

It was par for the course for the bad boy rapper: In 2012, he boasted about signing a record deal and getting sponsorship from a clothing company.

"I was in Manchester to perform at the O2 Academy as part of a UK tour movement Big On Road. I shut the Academy down, Logik-style.

"I performed alongside artists such as Don Jaga, Kapital KO, D-Millz, No Lay and K Koke, who is signed with Jay-Z's Sony RCA/Roc-Nation Label."
