I was confessor, patriarch, and Bishop, the successor to Bishop St Peter of Alexandria, Egypt.
I was mentored by Theonas, Bishop. I was headmaster at the Alexandria catechetical school. Athanasius, the Apostolic praised me for purity of Catholic doctrine when slandered by Meletius’ party. I died in 313 A.D., 7 Nov, Latin Rite, and 3 June, 30 Oct. Coptic Church. (Probably the same as Achillas of Alexandria Bishop, 17 Jan.)
