She is said to have worked miracles in the church where her relics are still kept. She was mother of St Ceidio (of Welsh Boneydd Y Saint) and two high status burial sits have been found at her Church in Tintagel. In fact she was. not a hermit, but the foundress of two abbeys. Her husband Ynyr Gwent is regarded by experts Baring Gould and Fisher as the Breton Saint Enoui. Madrun's other sons IDDON and CARADOC became King after Ynyr (this was the genealogy of the last Roman family living in Caerwent) She was greatly loved and her feast day is still celebrated today in Tintagel and Minster. The high status graves near Tintagel Castle on the Cliff were empty, because it is believed the monks of St Sergius and St Bach of Angers, Anjou, reburied the saint(s) under the altar at St Merthianas church in Minster, where her holy well is to be found. It was as a result of a vision on Ynys Enlli (the Island of 20,000 Saints-a holy island off the coast of N Wales)that she built the church at Trawsfynydd

In fact quite a lot is known about her from Welsh records and the saint is said to be buried under the altar of St Merthiana Church in Boscastle (although this is a Norman building by the monks of Anjou. There is quite a bit of information, and I am currently researching her.
