St. Richard
Richard was the father of Saints Willibald, Winnebald, and Walburga. He was on a pilgrimage to Rome from his native Wessex, England, with his two sons when he was stricken and died at Lucca, Italy. Miracles were reported at his tomb and he became greatly venerated by the citizens of Lucca, who embellished accounts of his life by calling him "king of the English". His feast day is February 7th.

i love this site, it is so helpful and interesting to read and learn!
This was very helpful. My grandson Richard born on Feb 7th 2012. Was looking for a medal to purchase for his baptism.
May God the almighty be blessed and praised in his saints. I thank God for all the saints who bear the RICHARD name. I pray to them to intercede for me. I dream of visiting one of the following places if not all where saint Richard is venerated; they are, Heidenheim, Lucca, and the monastery of the Holy Transfiguration in the U.S.
I found a paper and relic in a box in our basement. The paper is written in Latin, and it is for S. Richardi Regis (St. Richard King). Anyone with information on this???
Thank you and God Bless everyone,
Carol
my name is Richard and i would like to see a picture of St.. Richard as i was born on the 7 of February 1953
god bless all of you and the group of people that work to make this site
We visited Lucca for a week in late April-early May. (What a lovely place!) His relics are under an altar in a large side altar area in a place the average person cannot get into in St. Frediano’s church. There are a couple of pictures of him in the church, one a fresco. (St. Zita’s mummified remains are in a glass coffin in another side altar of this same church.)
I go to St. Richard's Church!!!!!
My Dad was named Richard. He passed away this past July 11..his birthday was July 6...he was 82.I am his first born. He was one of my best friends. We'd been through alot together. I really miss him. I was in the hospital when he died. I was named after his only brother. I still cry everyday. I guess that's normal.
Please pray for him and my family. God bless you all
