For those of you, who are looking for further info about st. Kinga: here is a website of the monastery which she founded in SÄ…cz (lat. Sandetia) in Poland http://www.klaryski.stary.sacz.pl/pl
She was a wife of great prince of Cracow (lat. Cracovia) - not prince of Poland, Boleslaus V, in spite of that fact she lived in virginity (what was accepted by her husband). According to historical sources she was very pretty, but Boleslaus was persuaded to live this way and has no successor, therefore his nickname "the chaste" appeared.
Was surprised to see a saint called St. Kinga. My last name is long and ends with Kinga so sometimes I call my self kinga! Was great to know there is even a saint by this name. May she pray for us!
Are there any more details about Saint Kinga?
