Eight martyrs who were beheaded at Caesarea, in Palestine, during the reign of Emperor Diocletian. According to the historian Eusebius of Caesarea, the names of the other martyrs were: Dionysius (two by this name), Alexander (two by this name), Romulus, Pausis, and Agapius.
