i was babtized also as Aurelia. But in the article, there was an error. Saint lived in Salzburg, Austria, and you have called her as Aurelia of Strasbourg, France.
how she can became a saint? want to know more about saint aurelia
Hanna, she didn't give up being a saint for God. She was a member of the royal family of Hugh Capet - the first King of France of the Capetian dynasty. She ran away to escape an unwanted marriage. Most people thought she was dead; St. Wolfgang was one of the few people who knew she was still alive.
I have chosen St Aurelia for my grandaughter Aroura's patron saint, as my daughter will not get her baptised. She is not nearly 4 years old. Have chosen St Josephine Bahkita for the other grandchild's patron saint. I think she was a wonderful woman and a great example of forgiveness. I will tell my grandchildren all about these two saints when they grow up, if I am still alive to tell the tale!
i am picking St. Aurelia for my Confirmation Saint. i wish that there was more infomation about her..... anyway i think her name is beautiful and i can't believe she gave up being a princess. well if it was for God then i understand.
