DeLay: The FBI is ready to indict Hillary Clinton

Clinton will face charges one way or the other.

Tom DeLay, former House Majority Leader, says the FBI is ready to indict Hillary Clinton for her criminal use of a private email server and for carelessly handling classified information. The FBI is now waiting to see if the U.S. Attorney General will file charges and make an arrest.

LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) - Tom DeLay, a former House Majority Leader and Texas Republican, has said that his friends in the FBI are ready to indict Hillary Clinton if the U.S. Attorney General fails to do so. Speaking on the Steve Malzberg Show, DeLay said, "I have friends that are in the FBI, and they tell me they're ready to indict."

Unfortunately, the FBI cannot indict anybody itself, but it can go public and recommend an indictment. Such a public pronouncement could diminish Clinton's chances of winning the White House.

DeLay explained, "One way or another either she's going to be indicted and that process begins, or we try her in the public eye with her campaign. One way or another she's going to have to face these charges."

Hillary Clinton is under intense scrutiny as investigators have learned over the past year she maintained a private email server and that she passed along classified information using the private server. If true, it would constitute a major crime, not to mention a massive violation of ethics and trust.

While most people are skeptical Clinton will ever face charges or go to jail, the court of public opinion may be enough to end her political career -assuming people understand the gravity of her offense. SO far, Hillary Clinton has been in spin mode, downplaying and denying the entire affair. She has never once accepted responsibility for her breech of ethics, since that would include admitting she committed a crime. It would also be a moral disqualification from public office.

It remains to be seen if DeLay's friends really will go public, and when they will time their announcement. With each passing day, Hillary Clinton moves closer to being crowned as the Democratic champion of her party. In most nationwide polls, Clinton leads against all Republican challengers. This means the time to announce her sins to the world is right now. In a matter of a week, it will be too late to curtail her steamroll to the White House.

Now is the time for the FBI to act, which would put pressure on the Attorney General to file charges.

If the proof is there, then anything less than immediate action is craven and corrupt, and a disservice to the American people.
