Los Obispos de Bolivia, reunidos en sus 96º Asamblea Plenaria, concelebraron, este domingo 10 de noviembre, una Misa en la catedral de Cochabamba con motivo de la clausura del Año de la Fe.

COCHABAMBA (ACI) - Durante la Misa, Mons. Oscar Aparicio, Obispo castrense y Presidente de la Conferencia Episcopal de Bolivia (CEB), leyó un mensaje titulado "El Discípulo vive de la fe". El mensaje se dirige a todos los hombres y mujeres que en el trabajo, en la familia, de acuerdo con el papel social y político que ejercitan, trabajan duro todos los días para construir un país mejor.

"Al concluir el Año de la Fe -dice el mensaje-, saludamos a todos con alegría y, juntos, damos gracias a Dios por este precioso don. Con el Papa Francisco afirmamos que verdaderamente 'somos vasijas de barro, frágiles y pobres, pero dentro llevamos un gran tesoro' que estamos llamados a compartir con los demás".

"Creer en un Dios que es Padre es vivir en la confianza, porque el Padre sabe lo que necesitamos, es celebrar que este mundo tenga un sentido. Creemos y confesamos que Jesucristo, es único y verdadero Hijo de Dios, que es manifestación plena del Padre, que nos llama por medio del amor y del perdón a la conversión, para que trasformados 'en hombres nuevos' lo sigamos y seamos discípulos suyos".

El mensaje señala que "creemos en el Espíritu Santo que nos anima, confirma, fortalece y santifica cada día. Él recrea y transforma toda la creación. Está presente en nuestras vidas, motiva nuestras luchas por la justicia y por un mundo mejor, renueva en cada amanecer nuestra esperanza, dispone nuestro corazón y nuestros labios para intensificar nuestra oración".

También para "invocar a Dios como Padre y afirmar nuestros vínculos de fraternidad y de comunión entre los hermanos y hermanas de la comunidad cristiana, y compartir los gozos y las esperanzas, las lágrimas y las angustias de las personas de nuestra sociedad, sobre todo de los pobres y de los afligidos por tantos males y problemas, y nos compromete a todos al servicio del Reino de Dios en la construcción de una sociedad nueva".
