McKINNEY, TX (November 6, 2009) - MetroCatholic, the publisher of www.dfwcatholic.org, recently launched their mobile version of their website that is specifically formatted for mobile touch devices like iPhone, iPod Touch, Google Android, and other touch-based smartphones and devices.
"This was a critical next step for us considering the number of people who now use their hand-held devices like iPhones, etc. as their primary means of accessing the internet. We are excited to be at the forefront of bringing this technology to Catholic's all over the world" stated Chad Simpson, MetroCatholic's co-founder and CEO.
When a website has been formatted specifically for view in hand-held devices, it automatically corrects viewing issues since standard websites are designed for computer monitors that are much larger than the screens of hand-helds.
Now when you visit www.dfwcatholic.org on your touch device, you will see all news and articles in a format more akin to that of an "app" or application versus that of a traditional web page.
