In order to complete first schedule of the movie unit had to visit a number of places of Tamilnadu like Karaikudi, Thiruchendur, Rameshwaran, Dhanushkodi, Madurai and Tenkasi while for second part of a movie shooting took place in Chennai, Pondichery and Ramoji Film city situated in Hyderabad.
Tamil Latest Movie Poorkkalam actually means “Battle Field”. This movie’s name itself gives an idea about its concept and theme. This is the battle of a one man against countless. This battle is for Love, for Revenge and even this battle is for Destiny. Basically it is an adventurous action movie with high voltage emotions. Action sequences in this movie are really natural and exciting, which actually holds breath of the audience and this shows amazing piece of a great direction. Tinu Anand is playing an outstanding role in this movie. He leaves a great impression on viewer’s mind after watching is film. This is really a golden opportunity for Tinu Anand to re-enter kollywood after Mani Rathnam’s Nayagan and Bombay. Supporting role of escort is played by Kishore, Sathyan and Smitha. And apart from these Lal, Biju Menon, Sampath, Ponvanan and Rajesh are playing important characters in movie.
Poorkkalam is technically perfect movie. Any movie is said technically perfect only when art, camera, concept, story, direction and other technical aspects compliments each other and goes on the same track, which soothes audience and in turn is definitely appreciated. Camera movements in movie are taken care by J.Mahendiran, which plays major role in portraying thoughts of director in front of audience. Cuts in the movie are done by Arun EM, and credit for fabulous music goes to Dharan. Most important part in any action movie – Stunts is directed by Super Subbarayan. And a wonderful Script short direction is given by Bandi Saroj Kumar.
