Salt Lake City, UT (December 17, 2012) - The Divine Office Ministry has partnered with some of the best Catholic resources available to the Catholic Community as a way to reach out to Catholics this Advent season in a campaign starting tomorrow, and continuing through the holiday, until December 26, 2012.

The Liturgy of the Hours, produced by Divine Office Ministry, is recognized as the best Catholic podcast, Website and mobile app in 2011 and 2012. Three Divine Office mobile apps were nominated as Best Catholic Mobile App in the About.com Readers’ Choice Awards 2012 edition. The goal of this campaign is to bring together other great resources, like Divine Office, which help the community further their intentions with God, and in their faith. Together with these resources, the DIvine Office Ministry aims to provide tools and services to Catholics everywhere, which help “intensify the celebration of the faith in the liturgy," and "to rediscover the content of the faith that is professed, celebrated, lived and prayed, “ as proclaimed in the Pope’s message. It is in response to the Pope’s own words reflected upon this Year of Faith, that DIvine Office begins this season with the Catholic Ministries for the New Evangelization Awareness Campaign:

“We want to celebrate this Year in a worthy and fruitful manner. Reflection on the faith will have to be intensified, so as to help all believers in Christ to acquire a more conscious and vigorous adherence to the Gospel, especially at a time of profound change such as humanity is currently experiencing. want this Year to arouse in every believer the aspiration to profess the faith in fullness and with renewed conviction, with confidence and hope. It will also be a good opportunity to intensify the celebration of the faith in the liturgy [...] At the same time, we make it our prayer that believers’ witness of life may grow in credibility. To rediscover the content of the faith that is professed, celebrated, lived and prayed, and to reflect on the act of faith, is a task that every believer must make his own, especially in the course of this Year.” – Pope Benedict XVI

Join this ever-expanding community in prayer this season, or follow the resources offered in celebration for this Year of Faith. DIvine Office Ministry; Friends and Supporters, would like to wish everyone a Happy and Peaceful Advent.
