    If the banner reads "Catholics Online," shouldn't there be a greater effort to give (all) Catholics who visit th is website a more welcoming first impression...or is the welcom mat only for Rightist Catholics? C'mon, get serious ... newsmax? That's right down there with Lupine "News" channel.

    Please let Mr. Romney know that authentic Catholic Social Justice teaches that Catholics have an obligation to give freely of our time, talent and treasure to our fellow man. The current confiscatory practices at all levels of government hinder us fulfilling our obligation.

    Catholics are not dispensed from this obligation by paying taxes that are used for social programs as some misguided people in the Church seem to think. The government taking the fruits of our labor and redistributing to someone else is not charity, it is theft.
