LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) -- Fashion designer Dilara Findikoglu has caused scandal by booking a satanic fashion show at a London church. The show was part of London's ‽Fashion Week," and was held at the St. Andrew Holborn Church. The show featured women dressed as devils and vampires complete with upside down crosses and other satanic symbols.
Findikoglu is a Turkish designer. She told Vogue magazine that she has a fascination with the occult and with magic.
The former Bishop of Rochester, Michael Nazir-Ali warned that the show could mislead people causing them to "go where we don't want people to go."
He added that he thought Christians would be outraged, calling the show "blasphemous."
The church has apologized for the incident, saying it booked the show in good faith, and did not know the show was going to have a satanic theme.
The church added it would review its booking process to ensure something like this never happens again.
The designer has not made any apology.
All should understand that the devil is evil, and should not be glorified in any form.
