Tras un intenso debate, la mayoría de eurodiputados del Parlamento Europeo votó en contra de una propuesta de resolución que buscaba retirar la autoridad a los padres para que sean los Estados quienes dirijan la vida sexual de los menores.

MADRID (ACI/EWTN Noticias) - Según explicó la plataforma HazteOír, la propuesta de resolución del Parlamento Europea que acaba de ser rechazada, estaba basada en el denominado "informe ESTRALA", "una ?perversa propuesta con la que se pretendía eliminar 'toda barrera de acceso' ?de los menores a la anticoncepción".

Para HazteOír, esta decisión del organismo europeo constituye "todo un éxito cívico, después de que miles de ciudadanos hayan secundado la alerta contrarreloj habilitada por HO y CitizenGO, en defensa de la dignidad humana y de la infancia, exigiendo que votaran en contra de esta propuesta".

En efecto, la campańa de HazteOír y CitizenGO recogió más de 37 mil firmas, dirigidas a los eurodipitados.

El informe que dio pie a esta propuesta de resolución regresará ahora al Comité de Derechos de la Mujer y la Igualdad Sexual del Parlamento Europeo, donde se podrá investigar mejor los abundantes puntos problemáticos de este documento, que, según denunció la plataforma defensora de la vida y la familia, fue "coescrito por la multinacional abortista internacional Planned Parenthood, a través de su oficina afincada en Bruselas".

Esta propuesta, entre otros puntos controversiales, proponía el adoctrinamiento en materia sexual, incluida la anticoncepción, a menores de edades tempranas, argumentando además un supuesto "derecho al aborto" para todos.

Por su parte, Sophia Kulbo, directora ejecutiva del European Dignity Watch, seńaló que "celebramos que no sólo el Parlamento haya abierto sus sentidos respecto a la salud sexual y reproductiva, sino que también se ha escuchado la voz de de los 1,4 millones de ciudadanos que ya hemos firmado la Iniciativa europea Ciudadana 'Uno de Nosotros-One of Us' exigiendo una mejor protección de la dignidad humana, que se han sentido representados en la decisión de hoy".
