Chipotle is one of the most popular food chains.

Fans of Chipotle Mexican Grill have been going nuts over the food chain's latest news. Chipotle's signature guacamole recipe is no longer a secret. You can now prepare their awesome recipe in your own kitchen by just having avocados, cilantro, red onion, jalapeno, lime juice and salt.

"We know that you know that guac is extra, but have you ever thought about what makes it so delicious?" Chipotle wrote in their big reveal.

According to the popular chain, the secret to this great recipe is centered on sourcing the finest ingredients possible. You have to remember that just using any other old avocados won't give you the prominent restaurant quality taste they provide you with.

For those dying to make this recipe, here are the ingredients provided by Chipotle's classically trained chef and founder, Steve Ellis.

2 ripe Hass avocados, peeled and pitted

2 tsp lime juice (The original recipe uses lime juice and jalapeno peppers)

2 tbsp fresh cilantro (chopped)

1/4 cup red onion (finely chopped)

1/2 jalapeno, including seeds (finely chopped)

1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

Tortilla chips, for serving

Make sure to choose the right avocados. It should be squishy, yet firm, and with a nice dark green color on the inside.  Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit.

Scoop the avocados and place in a medium-sized bowl. Use a fork to mash the avocados in the bowl and coat them with lime juice. Mash them until a smooth consistency is achieved.

Add the cilantro, chopped onion, jalapeno and salt. Stir to combine. Adjust the ingredients according to your personal taste.

Serve with tortilla chips, if desired.

This Mexican appetizer can be prepared in 10 minutes, and can make 6 to 10 servings. The portion sizes are suited for any party, big or little.

Use this recipe for a great chips-and-dip experience. A signature at Chipotle Mexican Grill is tortilla chips tossed with lime juice and a sprinkle of salt, paired with the guacamole recipe.

Chipotle revealed they use an overwhelming number of avocados per batch of guacamole, 48 to be exact.

This recipe is simple to prepare and delicious to eat, but let it be noted that a four-ounce serving has 230 calories with 22 grams of fat.

People all over twitter went wild over this recipe. It seems like most of them have celebrated Cinco de Mayo by prepping this recipe at home.

One truly can never get enough of this amazing recipe.
