Could Kerry be the 'Hitler of the Unborn'?

Op/Ed

I have been accused by more than one Kerry Democrat of being mean-spirited when I refer to John Kerry as the “Hitler of the Unborn.” I don’t use those words lightly. I have carefully considered his voting record on the life issues. I have listened carefully about the promises he intends to keep to Planned Parenthood, NOW, NARAL, and EMILY’s List. Kerry Democrats would have us believe that abortions will continue to drop under Kerry’s administration, but logic tells me that when he revokes the Mexico City Policy with his first promised Executive Order, millions of abortions will occur worldwide through the use of American tax dollars. I see clear parallels between Adolf Hitler’s master plan and John Kerry’s moral relativism concerning the value of human life. Therefore, I feel this image of Kerry as the new “Adolph Hitler” is justified.

When I visited the Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC, I was greatly moved by the visible record of Hitler’s diabolical plan to replace an entire continent with the Aryan race. He didn’t just limit his hatred to the Jews. We know that he also murdered Catholics, Gypsies, homosexuals, and the handicapped. Watching the footage of the carnage, videos that were placed discretely behind four foot high walls to shield the horror from the eyes of children, I could not help but see a connection between the disrespect that was shown to those innocent people who were victimized by the Nazis and the millions of innocent, unborn babies who have been legally slaughtered worldwide all in the name of “reproductive rights.”

John Kerry say he respects life but he cannot legislate an “article of faith.” Would Senator Kerry have stood silently by if he had been a politician during the reign of Hitler? Based on voting record, apparently he would have. If we are going to truly respect life, then is it not just as wrong to cut innocent children into pieces in the womb or suction them out with a vacuum as it was to drag innocent people from their homes, herd them onto trains, strip them naked, and send them to their deaths in gas chambers?

Kerry Democrats say that abortion is a non-issue to them. They like to call it a “wedge issue”which means that it is just a diversion tactic being employed by the Republicans to take our eyes off George Bush’s alleged war crimes. Kerry Democrats feel sorry for us pro-lifers. They believe we are simple-minded and stupid because we allow our hearts to go out to aborted babies and post-abortive women while ignoring the “real” issues. Abortion has been the most ignored “real” issue for the past 31 years. Why is it that Kerry Democrats refuse to discuss abortion? Why do they hide behind sound bites, including the latest one that reduces thousands of years of Judeo-Christian belief in the sacredness of human life to “the beliefs of the extreme right wing”? They never seem to be able to acknowledge that there are women who are coerced into having abortions, women who die from legal, botched abortions, or women who regret their abortions.

Kerry Democrats, instead, are focused on the War in Iraq. The have no problem referring to George Bush as a killer, a criminal, a Nazi, a Fascist, or a dangerous man because of his actions in Iraq. As someone who feels passionately about the pro-life movement, I can understand their passion. I respect their aversion to pre-emptive war. No one wants war. No one wants our soldiers to die. No one wants innocent Iraqis to be killed. No one wants to see beheadings and bombings on television.

If I can understand the passion Kerry Democrats feel toward a war that they truly believe is an unjust war, why can they not respect my passion for the right to life? Why do they not understand my aversion to 31 years of legalized killing of the unborn in America? Why won’t they respect my belief that creating human life for the purposes of embryonic stem cell research and human cloning is a despicable act? Why aren’t they willing to acknowledge my legitimate outrage at being told that my tax dollars must go to fund abortifacient birth control, surgical abortion, or biomedical experimentation, even when such action violates my right to religious freedom?

We must continue to stand firm in our convictions to speak up for the slaughtered, innocent, unborn babies and victimized women so that these issues will get their long overdue, deserved attention. John Kerry has made it abundantly clear that an examination of the moral issues surrounding his agenda on abortion, embryonic stem cell research and human cloning is not on the table for discussion. Kerry Democrats would like nothing better than to steam roll their God-less agenda right into the 21st Century.

Luke 18:8 tells us that Jesus said, “But when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?” ...
