St. Albert the Great, Bishop and Doctor of the Church, one of the greatest intellects of the Church and middle ages, was reknowned as a philosopher, theologian, and for his knowledge of the natural sciences, becoming today the patron of scientists. He was also the great teacher of St. Thomas Aquinas - theologian of the Word, while himself the philosopher of Mary. Ave Maria!
