Jesus showed mercy and encouragement to Zacchaeus, a sinful man whom the people despised. We tend to unknowingly reject those we view as sinners, uneducated, poor, or not as faithful as us. Evangelizing requires that we first strive to be patient at all times and extra charitable in our words. We can try to understand others' particular situations and encourage them to reform, while we continue to support them with our prayers and sacrifices. Ave Maria!
