As a 9 year old child I chose St. Philomena as my Confirmation name. I am pleased to know now that she is still considered a saint and will pray for her intercession and miracle for my daughter (aged 37) who has glaucoma and has lost the sight in her right eye and risks losing the sight in her lieftt eye. Also a partiicular prayer for her eldest son James (18 years and for protection of all her family and mine, and for my healing of Chronic Kidney Disease and of my three sisters and one brother and brother in law who are all suffering with various illnesses. Thank you St. Philomena.
