Father Matthias comments on a phrase from today's collect: "So dispose our minds, we pray, that what we celebrate by professing the faith we may express in deeds." Father reminds us that one such deed is how we act before the Blessed Sacrament, and that by bodily postures and gestures, we may either help or hinder our spiritual life. He concludes by presenting seven points from Bishop Athanasius Schneider's book Dominus Est (the title of which is taken from today's Gospel) in regards to the method of receiving Holy Communion.
