Interactive Website Launched in Effort to Reach Millions with a "Reason for Hope"

Erie, Pa., Sept. 7, 2006 - Through the lens of the modern media, the world is filled with despair. Poverty, natural disasters, crime, war, disease and immorality corrupt the cultural landscape and cloud the judgment of good people. It's easy to lose hope.

Father Larry Richards, a dynamic Catholic priest from Western Pennsylvania, has the answer to this loss of hope and he's giving it away for free. In a society desperate for relief from public and personal tragedies, millions of people now have a place to turn every day to find hope and, in turn, give it away.

On Friday, Sept. 8, Father Larry launches an innovative new website poised to become "a meeting place" for people of all faiths, creeds and cultures who share one desire - a search for truth and a reason for hope. ReasonForOurHope.org is a solution to the toughness of our culture and the empty promises offered by the world. In his free downloadable talk, The Truth, Fr. Larry asks, "What is it that you hold onto so tightly that you can't surrender it to receive everything that God wants to give you? What do you want?" Fr. Larry's message is refreshingly authentic, assuring, and clear. In society today, a strong, clear voice is desperately needed to bring light in the midst of darkness and despair.

In 1 Peter 3:15, people of faith are commissioned to "always be ready to give an explanation to anyone who asks you for a reason for your hope." The launch of this fully interactive website provides the opportunity and the means to do that. "People who come to this website will receive access to dynamic video and daily reflections which will be an enduring source of inspiration. Users can access a daily 'Hope Line' and leave their own nuggets of hope for others and our personalized e-cards can be used as a tool for evangelization," says Father Larry.

The Internet is a crowded marketplace of ideas. What Fr. Larry and www.TheReasonForOurHope.org website offer is a pathway through the confusion to the heart of what matters -The Truth.
