St. Louis Youths Make Blue Pro-Life Wristbands Available

St. Louis, MO - January 11, 2004 - Putting a pro-life spin on the teenage wristband craze, St. Louis youths Maria and Jeff Geerling recently began to sell Pro-Life Wristbands and are now releasing information to the public on how to order them in bulk quantity. The Geerlings have had both adult- and youth-sized molds made for the wristbands, and are making information about this process available to any group wishing to have the wristbands manufactured at a very low cost.

In the Summer of 2004, Maria and Jeff started working on plans for the wristbands, but had difficulty finding a low-cost manufacturer. Eventually, they were able to order 10,000 wristbands from Yew Sheng Enterprise and sold out of this first shipment within weeks, mostly to people living in the St. Louis area.

Since posting information about the wristbands on their web page, the Geerlings have been contacted by groups and individuals from across the United States, as well as Human Life International's Hispanic division and a Pro-Life group in Venezuela. The Geerlings are hoping for larger groups to use the new information to spread the wristbands nationally and internationally.

The ordering information is available on the PROLIFE Wristband Website and is available to any interested group. The minimum order, using this method, is 2,500 wristbands.
