Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow to Appear on The CatholicTV Network

WATERTOWN, MA (May 12, 2014) On Friday, May 16, 2014, Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow, Chief Executive of Mary's Meals will appear on the nationally broadcasted talk show, This is the Day.

Mary's Meals is a global movement that sets up school feeding projects in some of the world's poorest communities, where poverty and hunger prevent children from gaining an education. The charity provides one daily meal in a place of learning in order to attract chronically hungry children into a classroom, where they receive an education that can, in the future, be their ladder out of poverty.

The charity's work is named after Mary, the mother of Jesus, who brought up her child in poverty. Mary's Meals consists of, respects and reaches out to people of all faiths and none. Find out more about Mary's Meals at

Mary's Meals began in 2002 as a one-off school feeding program. Today, Mary's Meals provides daily life changing meals to 894,288 hungry children.
