DUBLIN, IRELAND (September 12, 2013) - The Genesis Movie 3D trailer is ready for those who would like to watch a box office film to be with a difference. This is no doubt an exciting time for those evangelical Christians who have nurtured a culture of young earth creationism in America. We Catholics can only sit back and admire the heroic work these born again Christians are doing to back up their faith.

Not alone do the evangelicals back it up, but the also win over many agnostics into their fold. The heart of their success is their willingness to challenge evolution head on. The Genesis Movie 3D will be another onslaught against the rise of humanism in America. We Catholics have got to take notice, because we are loosing some fine would be mass going parishioners to hard working sincere & committed evangelicals on the origins science issue.

The Genesis 3D movie can strengthen the Catholics faith

Can you imagine if Catholics were to rediscover their traditional & literal understanding on the Genesis creation account? We may have otherwise had a Genesis movie like this produced years ago! There is no reason why Catholics could not have done this, as all the saints spoke of the instantaneous creation of Adam, and the creation of Eve from Adam’s side. Only one saint (Augustine) suggested that the everything may have been made in a day, and none of the other saints had even hinted at the possibility of millions of years.

Instead, they believed it was created over 6 consecutive days. So even if Catholics could still not make a young earth creationist film called The Genesis Movie 3D, they could make something called Special Creation by Fiat Movie 3D. This would encompass origins science, while assessing evolution critically, and shore up support for the traditional & literal understanding of the Genesis creation account held by the Catholic Church’s magisterium. We must give up on our fruitless theistic evolutionary philosophies.

The Genesis Movie 3D can help us evangelize

Catholics can learn from the evangelical Christian approach. They know how to evangelize, and they are winning over our own weakened flock. But we can reclaim from today, by getting involved with Catholic groups like the Kolbe Center, or Faithful Answers. There are other committed & dedicated Catholic ministries like Le Cep, or Daylight Origins Society. By getting involved today, we can both build up our knowledge of the true Catholic teachings, and evangelize to our weakened flock.

The Genesis Movie 3D is a positive fruit of the hard work that the evangelical Christians have been doing to combat false philosophies on origins science. It did not happen over night for these young earth creationists. They spent years evangelizing on the importance of refuting evolution, and backing up their faith. Its time we Catholics took a leaf from their book, and rediscover special creation and our rich Catholic heritage.

I had been looking in the Net for something about the Churches thought on the movie as I have not seen it. From what I had read about the contents of the movie it seems to reach out to everyone, regardless who or were they are. Now I feel at ease and can talk to others about it.
