The CatholicTV Network to Broadcast First Mass with Pope Francis

WATERTOWN, MA (March 14, 2013) The CatholicTV Network will broadcast the first Mass with Pope Francis and the College of Cardinals from the Sistine Chapel live at 12PM ET. Commentary by President of the CatholicTV Network, Father Robert Reed, and Monsignor James Moroney will be provided. The Mass will be rebroadcast at 8PM.
The Archbishop of Buenos Aires is the first pontiff from the New World and the first non-European since the Middle Ages. He is the first pope from the Americas, the first Jesuit and the first named Francis, after St Francis of Assisi.
Pope Francis will be installed officially on Tuesday, March 19, 2013. The CatholicTV Network will broadcast this event live at 4:30AM ET with rebroadcast during the day.
The CatholicTV Network is available to Comcast subscribers throughout the Archdiocese of Boston and New England on Channel 268 (in Plymouth and Amesbury, MA on Ch. 183), on Verizon FiOS Ch. 296, Charter Communications Ch. 101, RCN Ch. 85, on various other providers and on Roku and Google TV.
