Diocese of Providence Catholic Youth Ministry to Appear on Live Talk Show of the CatholicTV® Network

WATERTOWN, MA (June 14, 2012) -Diocese of Providence Catholic Youth Ministry Director and Mother of Hope Camp Director to Appear on Live Talk Show of the CatholicTV® Network
On Friday, June 15, 2012, Mary Piccirilli, Director of the Mother of Hope Camp for the Diocese of Providence and Louise Dussault, Director of the Office of Catholic Youth Ministry for the Diocese of Providence will appear on CatholicTV Network's nationally broadcasted live talk show; This is the Day.
Mother of Hope Camp is a co-educational day camp for children from ages 5-12 run by the Diocese of Providence Office of Catholic Youth Ministry. For more than 60 years, thousands of children have experienced camp as a vibrant faith community through a fun-filled week in a safe and supportive setting. Mother of Hope camp provides young people with the opportunity to grow physically, socially, and spiritually in a Christian community under the guidance of a trained and caring staff.
The Diocese of Providence offers numerous faith-based opportunities and activities for young Catholics, including retreats, the Mother of Hope Camp, leadership training, Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) competitive sports, and much, much more.
The Diocese of Providence is made up of a community of hundreds of thousands of Catholics who worship in the 144 parishes and shrines. There are 391 priests (270 diocesan priests and 121 religious priests), 100 deacons, 459 religious sisters and 79 brothers serving in the Diocese. More than 14,755 children attend the Diocese's 44 elementary and high schools. The Diocese itself is comprised of more than 221 individual corporations representing parishes, offices and agencies.
