Dr. Jude Marie Banatte and Brenda Cerkez to Be Interviewed Live on the CatholicTV® Network

WATERTOWN, MA (June 5, 2012) - On June 8, 2012, Dr. Jude Marie Banatte, Head of Programming for Catholic Relief Services (CRS) in Les Cayes, Haiti and Brenda Cerkez, Theology of the Body for Families: Hope and Healing conference, will be featured on the CatholicTV Network's nationally broadcasted live talk show; This is the Day.

Jude Marie Banatte, M.D., head of programming for Catholic Relief Services (CRS) has a personal story of helping to rebuild Haiti. Immediately the devastating earthquake in Haiti, Banatte and a CRS team from the Les Cayes office in the southern part of Haiti filled their trucks with emergency supplies and navigated the dangerous rubble-strewn roads to Port-au-Prince.

Dr. Banatte's history with CRS, the official international humanitarian agency of the U.S. Catholic community, spans 11 years in Haiti. As the head of programming for CRS, he has managed a variety of large-scale agricultural and health development projects. Learn more about CRS at:

Also appearing on Friday, June 8, 2012 will be Brenda Cerkez; the Executive Director of Family Honor, Inc. Brenda directs the day-to-day management of this non-profit Catholic organization and also works with leaders from a variety of dioceses, parishes, and other organizations both inside and outside the U.S. who are interested in a family-centered approach to chastity education.

Brenda will be in the CatholicTV studios to give viewers more information on the Theology of the Body for Families: Hope and Healing conference, which is co-hosted by Family Honor and the Diocese of Charleston, South Carolina.

The Theology of the Body for Families: Hope and Healing conference will take place on Friday, July 6 and Saturday, July 7, 2012 near Greenville, South Carolina, at St. Mary Magdalene parish in Simpsonville.

2012 marks the 4th national Theology of the Body Conference Family Honor has co-sponsored and is another way that Family Honor is serving and supporting families. Theology of the Body for Families: Hope and Healing will offer a variety of workshops, engaging and informative talks, networking and fellowship opportunities, adoration, Reconciliation, Mass, exhibits, meals, and much more.
