Democrats are the real Republican MVPs and here's why

Even Trump agrees, Democrats are their own worst enemy.

Nancy Pelosi, long the reigning queen of the Democratic party, is about to lose her crown. Under her leadership, the Democratic Party has eroded into a shell of its former self, despite spending record-breaking sums of money. The unholy alliance of rich and powerful globalists is bankrupt, and cannot get results. Good.

LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) -- The Democratic Party may be one of the most corrupt, sleazy organizations in the United States. Their platform is largely devoid of any credible policy, but it is staunchly pro-gay and anti-Trump. The Democrats have not articulated any other message than this, which is the reason they have lost five elections in a row.

Voters respond to hope, as Bernie Sanders discovered. However, they reject cronyism and the old established order. This is what catapulted Trump into the White House.

Every thinking human being realizes this, but the Democrats are a special kind of stupid. Despite their own constituents shouting at them, despite every editorial critical of their leadership, despite losing election after election, the Democrats remain on the same track.

They are pro-big business, pro-globalization, and pro-gay. And anti-Trump. And somehow, the working class, which remains the voting backbone of the nation, owes them allegiance?

Some Democrats are calling for a new face, and new vision. But so far, Nancy Pelosi has not offered to resign her seat as the House Minority Leader. Nor has the party purged its leadership team.

The reason is that power is addictive, and the leadership of the Democrats are trading their votes for cash. They are in the pockets of big business, and they refuse to relinquish power to the younger generation. They have become what they themselves once railed against as youth.

The Democratic leadership is so bad, even Donald Trump trolled them tweeting: I certainly hope the Democrats do not force Nancy P out. That would be very bad for the Republican Party. Please let Cryin' Chuck stay!

President Trump trolled the Democrats with this notable tweet. He has a point.

When your adversary declares you are the real MVP, you know something is wrong.

Americans don't want globalization. They don't like the corrupting power of big business which has drowned out their voice. They don't care that much about the gays anymore. They're tired of the anti-Trump screeds and just want to get on with the rest of their lives.

To capture these people, the Democrats need a new platform. Americans want lower taxes for the middle class and small business, but they are willing to raise taxes on big business and the wealthy. They want an end to lobbying, they want term limits to staunch corruption. They want healthcare, and religious freedom. They want affordable collage, if not free. But they also want trade schools and jobs. They want money spent on infrastructure, not defense. They need pay raises, and schools that prepare kids for the 21st century, not the 20th.

Either party which espouses this platform will win in a landslide. But so far, nobody seems interested in the people. Both parties, and the Democrats in particular, are so beholden to special interests that nothing the people want can get done.

The only independent thinker in Washington is President Trump, and he is likely stymied by political infighting, backstabbing, and his own lack of political experience. He would do well to talk about an infrastructure improvement plan for America, and to spend the majority of his time on that. Such a shift in emphasis could easily secure him reelection. But Trump is inside the fishbowl, not out of it, and that distorts vision.

The American people simply want the opportunity to better their lives without excessive government interference, or being taken advantage of by monied interests.

Apparently, as far as the Democrats are concerned, that's an unreasonable request. And that's why they will keep losing.

Good!
