Highlights

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Donald Trump has been criticized for everything from being a mysogynist to being compared to Adolf Hitler, yet he is the sole Republican candidate for the presidency.

According to ad tracking firm Kantar Media/CMAG, televised ad campaigns to destroy Donald Trump cost at least $75.5 million, with the full estimate $75,723,580.

The money was used for nearly 64,000 ad spots throughout the business tycoon's campaign run.

Despite the numerous anti-Trump advertisements, the Republican nominee continued to thrive as he campaigned from city to city.

Even with one pro-Marco Rubio group spending nearly $20 million in the anti-Trump campaign, Trump continued to accumulate followers.

Ted Cruz's campaign spent over $4.3 million in the war against Trump, while Democrat Hillary Clinton's campaign spent $5.2 million on anti-Trump ads.

Many argue Trump is the smart choice, as he is a businessman, therefore he should know how to fix the economy, while others claim he will be the end of the country as we know it - not in a good way.

Despite his hot temper and Twitter rants, Trump continues his campaign with his eye on the presidency.
