LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) - Barry Hussein Obama attended both Christian and Muslim classes. As a child, he was universally regarded as a Muslim, but one who also attended classes for Christians. His mother was opposed to his Muslim education, and even challenged a teacher who permitted him to learn the Koran. Yet, Barry continued attending his classes.

The perception shared by his teachers, who spoke to the various media outlets when he was running for president, was that he was a Muslim student with an interest in Christianity. It is also understood that Obama had a habit of passing himself off in a way that pleased those he wanted to impress. For example, he would emphasize his Christian upbringing around Christians and his Muslim upbringing around others. This trait is common among children who come from divided backgrounds.

Obama however, is a Muslim, deep inside and he remained a Muslim into his 20s. He was born to a Muslim father, was given a Muslim name, registered as a Muslim in school, took Islamic education classes, was proficient in those classes and even learned to speak Arabic with a perfect accent.

In the Muslim world, he is still a Muslim. He has passed himself off as a Muslim, has used Muslim catchphrases, has recited Koranic prayers, and according to the laws of Islam, he cannot leave the religion anyway.

Yet, Obama's chameleon-like behavior when it comes to religion has serious implications in American politics. American voters elected a man who they thought was a Christian. The accusations that he could be a Muslim were categorically denied and dismissed. Anyone calling Obama a Muslim was dismissed as a rightwing crackpot. Yet, any examination of the evidence says he is a Muslim.

In order to fool the American public into electing Barack Hussein Obama, it was necessary for him to lie. The lies were mostly lies of omission, but they were lies nonetheless. Obama has hardly been forthright about his Muslim background. He continues to portray himself as a Christian.

Most Americans congratulate themselves on electing the nation's first black president, despite the obvious fact his mother was Caucasian. Yet, most of the world's Muslim see him as the nation's first Muslim president. Why do outsiders see what we Americans can't?

It's because we refuse to see it.

Nobody likes to confess they've been duped. We were so excited about "hope and change" that we never really bothered to vet his religious background, or to pay attention to what a few conservative alarmists were saying.

A lie is a lie, no matter how sweet it is. The fact that Obama was less than forthright about his religious background is part of what led the American people to elect him, twice. This is a moral failing.

Yet, we now have a president in the Oval Office that has armed, aided and abetted terrorists, has refused to take steps to stop them after they initiated bloody campaigns of terror and genocide, and generally remains aloof of the people he governs.

The many moral failings of President Obama have consequences which will be felt by the American people for at least a full generation. His failings have already been felt in this country and around the world. How many have died because of his failed policies and biased decisions? How many more will suffer?

The evidence is clear. Obama is a liar, he is a moral failure and this has led to his downfall a President. He may never be impeached, he will finish his second term, but he cannot expect history to deal kindly with him as his failings and sins come to light in the years to come.
