On Saturday, July 9, the International Space Station (ISS) cut its live feed just as an unidentified flying object entered Earth's atmosphere, prompting hundreds of conspiracy theories and serving as a beacon to UFO Hunters around the world.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - When the ISS feed cut, UFO Hunters and conspiracy theorists emerged to discuss whether it was NASA or the object that cut the live stream.
The day the feed was cut, UFO hunter Streetcap1 immediately reported the incident in a video blog.
Streetcap1 never implied the object was an extraterrestrial ship but instead stated, "This could well be a meteor or the like."
Though Streetcap1 was quick to imply the object could have been anything, he also suggested the sudden cut in the feed was quite sinister: "What made it interesting was that the camera cut off when the UFO seemed to stop."
Other hunters and conspiracy theorists argue the object could have been the Chinese space cargo ship Tiangong-1 but Streetcap1 wrote: "I have watched the International Space Station a lot over the last 6 years and I can tell you that this is not the moon, nor a meteor.
"It may be the Chinese space station cargo ship, called Tiangong-1, or the other one Tangong-2.
Despite the timing of the sudden cut, a NASA spokesperson made a statement denying NASA purposely shut down transmission when UFOs appear on the feed.
They made a similar statement when UFO hunters accused them of deliberately shutting down transmission earlier in April, when theorists and hunters claim a UFO appeared shortly before NASA cut the live feed.
The spokesperson insisted NASA never intentionally drops live transmissions to hide anything but when the video is lost, it is usually the result of lost signals from ISS.
Whether the NASA spokesperson spoke truth or not matters little to enthusiasts and the parade of theories continues.
