LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Most Americans rest easy at night comforted by the fact that although the forces of Islam are at war with the rest of the world, that war is taking place continents away in the Middle East and Africa. However, the conflict is spreading. Even in Asia, where the conflict has been so long running that it is hardly mentioned, the conflict is growing.

Now, a video of an American jihadist, Moner Mohammed Abu-Salha, has surfaced, recorded just before he killed himself in a suicide attack on a civilian target in Syria. In the video, Abu-Salha is shown ripping apart his U.S. passport, chewing a page, and burning the remnants. He then begins ranting and raving, rambling as he goes, but his message is very clear.

Fight against genocide, we can't let evil win!

"You think you're safe in America. Every single kafir, everywhere.you think you are safe, you are not safe. WE ARE COMING FOR YOU!" he shouts into the camera with glee.

Abu-Salha was pictured in several videos, strapping a bomb to his chest in one of them. He recently killed himself, driving a truck filled with explosives to the front of a restaurant where soldiers were known to gather, and detonating the load. He previously talked about wanting to die. He killed himself as part of a coordinated suicide campaign last May.

He also criticized the killing of Osama bin Laden, explaining that those who killed him merely sent him to paradise.

The world is failing to recognize the existential threat that this Islam represents to it. Abu-Salha made it clear. As soon as the Islamic state is established and secure, they will continue their march, attacking Israel, the United States and the rest of the world.

By their own testament, we must choose to fight them there or here under our natural right of self-defense, for they are coming for us and they will attack us.

And to demonstrate there should be no doubt as to their sincerity, the terrorists also released a video of the heads of decapitated Syrian soldiers impaled on a fence outside their barracks. You can view that video below, be warned the contents are graphic. [Links to WND website, video via Live Leak.]
