LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - According to White House officials and Politico, Donald Trump will make a stop at the Vatican, Israel and Saudi Arabia during his first foreign Presidential tour.
His journey will come to an end at a NATO meeting in Brussels and at the G7 summit in Sicily on May 25 and 26.
This trip is expected to be crucial for the new president as he needs to strengthen the country's alliances overseas.
Both the Italian Prime Minister, Paolo Gentiloni, and Israeli officials confirmed Trump's interest and discussions with planning this trip.
According to NBC News, Trump has previously explained he wants to serve as a "mediator, arbiter or facilitator," for the Palestinian - Israel conflicts but added, "Any agreement cannot be imposed by the United States or any other nations."
