SALTILLO (ACI) - Expresiones de diputados del PRI como "estoy en contra de esta iniciativa, yo estoy a favor de la vida", de José Luis Moreno, o "esta iniciativa pretende legalizar el asesinato", de Fernando de la Fuente y "que quede claro que el Partido Verde se opone al aborto en nuestro Estado", del diputado Refugio Sandoval, se escucharon ayer tribuna del Congreso.

Tras la segunda lectura de la iniciativa del diputado del Partido Social Demócrata (PSD) Samuel Acevedo, que pretendía despenalizar el aborto durante las primeras 12 semanas de gestación, se inició el debate entre los legisladores de diferentes partidos.

Refugio Sandoval, el Partido Verde, dijo estar en contra de la iniciativa del aborto ya que, dijo, científicamente está comprobado que a los 12 meses de gestación el bebé ya está completamente formado y solo le falta crecer.

"El código de ética médica señala que en caso de complicaciones en el embarazo, deben hacerse los esfuerzos necesarios para salvar a la madre e hijo, y nunca tener como salida la muerte premeditada de uno de ellos", expresó y rechazó además el aborto por violación.

Calificó de aberrante el aborto por deficiencias físicas o de salud, alegando que en ese caso se tendría derecho de matar también a las personas con discapacidad que ya han nacido. En eso coincidió el diputado priísta Fernando de la Fuente, que dijo, permitir el aborto con esos argumentos es como una especie de depuración racista, comparada a la establecida por Hitler en el nazismo.

También la legisladora de la UDC, Norma Delgado Ortíz dijo estar en contra de la iniciativa, pues dijo conocer muchas mujeres con hijos con diversas discapacidades, que lejos de repudiarlos los ven como una bendición.

Coahuila se suma a la postura de los 18 estados que en México han blindado la vida contra el aborto: Chiapas, Veracruz, Querétaro, Baja California, Chihuahua, Campeche, Colima, Puebla, Durango, Jalisco, Nayarit, Quintana Roo, Guanajuato, Yucatán, Sonora, Morelos, San Luis Potosí y Oaxaca.
