SAN FRANCISCO, Ca (June 7, 2010) - "Faith and Life", the popular catechetical series from Ignatius Press and authored by Catholics United for the Faith, is now available in an engaging online format. This exciting new online resource is a result of the collaboration of Ignatius Press, Catholics United for the Faith, and the new organization My Catholic Faith Delivered.

My Catholic Faith Delivered is a unique web-based platform developed to enhance students' ability to acquire knowledge and understanding of the Catholic faith. This is accomplished by combining Catholic content with innovative technology. It is the ideal program for a teacher or a catechist looking for resources and courses, and for a Catholic who simply wants a better understanding of the faith. My Catholic Faith Delivered courses are available on the internet anytime, anywhere--making learning convenient and fun. The dynamic courses feature engaging lessons, interactive activities, and immediate assessments that give real-time feedback on learner progress.

My Catholic Faith Delivered began in 2008 when patrons of the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas combined their expertise of online delivery systems with authentic, top-flight Catholic content. As previous owners of a nursing review and online testing program that developed into the largest company in this field, they were excited to transfer their extensive knowledge of online delivery systems to the aid and understanding of the Catholic faith.

The mission of My Catholic Faith Delivered is to partner with faith-based institutions to better equip Catholics in their knowledge of the faith, and to carry out the evangelical vision of the Church. Ignatius Press and Catholics United for the Faith are excited to partner with My Catholic Faith Delivered to offer the "Faith and Life" religious education series as one of its courses.

The "Faith and Life" religious education series is already well-known for presenting Catholic teaching using the time-tested ecclesial methodology and spiral development of catechesis, in a beautiful, student-friendly, comprehensive format. The curriculum features clear and exciting presentations of Catholicism for grades 1-8 that are excellent for Catholic schools, parish catechetical programs and home schools.

Ignatius Press Founder and Editor, Father Joseph Fessio, says, "It has been over 20 years since Catholics United for the Faith and Ignatius Press collaborated to produce the 'Faith and Life' series. Since that time, almost 2,000,000 copies have been sold, about 250,000 of each grade level. The series has been praised by parents and the students themselves for its presentation of the fullness of Catholic faith and Tradition."

"We're very enthusiastic about our partnership with My Catholic Faith Delivered," Father Fessio says. "They have an outstanding, proven platform for on-line education and Ignatius Press/Catholics United for the Faith has an outstanding, proven catechism series. 'Faith and Life' online can be used to supplement or even substitute for our excellent print version."

Mike Sullivan, the president of Catholics United for the Faith, says, "My Catholic Faith Delivered has done a great service for the Church in making available in an online format our popular 'Faith and Life' catechism series. 'Faith and Life' online employs the newest technology to meet the challenges of catechizing our tech-savvy youth in the 21st Century. This innovative tool is a wonderful addition to our arsenal in forming a new generation of Catholics who know, live, and love their Catholic faith."

Barbara Setter Burgoon, the Associate Director of My Catholic Faith Delivered, is available for interviews about the "Faith and Life" courses that are now available in this interactive new online format. She says, "I am so excited to share the online version of 'Faith and Life' with teachers, parents and students around the world.
