SAN ANTONIO, TX (April 23, 2010) – The Alexander House announces that Fr. John Corapi, S.O.L.T., the internationally known radio/TV personality and Scripture scholar, will be the keynote speaker at a major Catholic conference scheduled for Saturday, August 7, 2010, in San Antonio, Texas. Entitled “Life, Love and the Purpose of Our Existence,” the all-day event will be held at the AT&T Center (located five miles east of downtown San Antonio) to accommodate the crowd of 13,500 people expected to attend.

Many believe Fr. Corapi is one of the greatest living preachers of our age. He has been blessed with a remarkable ability to teach the truths of the Faith with such authority and clarity that even the “hardest hearts” are brought closer to God. During his Alamo City engagement, the beloved priest will give talks explaining how Catholic Church teachings provide clear answers to society’s most difficult and hotly contested issues. He also will give much-needed spiritual guidance on a variety of topics. In addition, the conference will include Holy Mass, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and music by popular Catholic recording artist Michael John Poirier.

Tickets for the conference may be purchased online at www.FatherCorapiSA.com and through Ticketmaster (call 1-800-745-3000 or go to www.TicketMaster.com). Individual tickets are $37, $47 and $52.

All proceeds from this event go to The Alexander House, an international Catholic marriage apostolate based in San Antonio. Its Covenant of Love ministry provides parish-based marriage education and enrichment opportunities to help couples strengthen their marriages and to promote and advocate the splendor and truth of God’s plan for marriage. For more information, go to www.TheAlexanderHouse.org.

NOTE: Fr. Corapi will sign copies of his books on Friday, August 6, 2010 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Sheraton Gunter Hotel in downtown San Antonio. Many of his popular DVDs and books will be available for purchase. This is a free event open to the public; no Saturday conference ticket is required.
