New Album Shares Steve Angrisano's Message of Hope and the Closeness of God

PORTLAND, OR (November 12, 2009) -- A new album from contemporary faith musician Steve Angrisano, Inescapable Love, is now available at www.spiritandsong.com/inescapable-love. This collection was inspired by the music and message Angrisano shares at over 100 concert events each year. Inescapable Love offers songs ideal for both liturgical and praise & worship settings.

His most collaborative project yet--featuring tracks co-written by Sarah Hart, Marc Byrd, Audrey Assad and Dwight Liles--Angrisano delivers a wide array of songs. Elements of bluegrass really come through with fiddle and dobro making appearances on an album that pays subtle homage to Steve's Southern roots.

"I think it is the richest recording I've ever done from the perspective of the lyrics and the great musicality of the players," says Angrisano. "It's a challenge to harness the diverse musical talents of a group while staying true to the songwriters' vision. The most rewarding thing for me in this project is how well we accomplished that."

Comprised of 12 diverse originals and a cover fans will instantly recognize from his live shows, Inescapable Love builds upon Angrisano's ability to capture the profound, common experiences that we all struggle to put into words. From the gentle duet with newcomer Audrey Assad on "Plow Your Row" to the driving rock guitars found on "Living God," this collection offers listeners a range of musical styles.

While Steve is best known for his contemporary songs of praise, he is also committed to providing the Church with inspiring and valuable liturgical pieces. This commitment is demonstrated with two Eucharistic songs: "Many and One" and "We Remember, We Believe."
