Songs By Angelina Will Air Alongside The Saints on CatholicTV 11/6/2009 - 5:57 AM PST

WATERTOWN, MA (November 6, 2009) - Starting the week of Monday, November 9th, CatholicTV will air music videos by Catholic singer Angelina Davis alongside teachings about the saints by Fr. James Martin, S.J.. Angelina’s CD/DVD “Songs of the Faithful” include songs for St. Faustina, St. Joseph, St. Patrick, and Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta. This “saintly” combination of music videos and the saints will air during the weekly programming block on CatholicTV called “Catholic Saints and Lay People”.

Angelina started performing at a very young age and performed the Christmas song “Do you Hear What I Hear?”at the Vatican's Blessing of an outdoor nativity at Christmas time. Fr. James Martin is an author who wrote the book “My Life With the Saints”. Father Martin is also associate editor of nationally-distributed magazine, a frequent commentator in the media on religion and spirituality, and a popular lecturer and retreat master.
Catholic Saints and Lay People airs each week at the following times (Eastern): Tuesday 11:30 AM Wednesday 5:00 AM Friday 8:00 AM Sunday 10:30 PM.
Tuesday, November 10th begins the airing of Angelina’s music videos and “Who Cares About the Saints?” by Fr. James Martin. The programming will re-air at the times above at CatholicTV.com and on CatholicTV.
