CATHOLIC PRAISE UNPLUGGED featuring JOHN ANGOTTI IN CONCERT
MONDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2009

SANTA MONICA, CA (September 28, 2009) - Popular Catholic music recording artist and composer John Angotti (World Library Publications) will perform live in concert on Monday, October 5th at Our Lady of the Angels Cathedral Conference Center located at 555 Temple, Los Angeles, CA 90012. The concert, which begins at 8:00pm and features a special guest appearance by Catholic Praise Records debut recording artist, Harrison Crenshaw, is preceded by a contemporary Catholic music workshop and panel discussion headed up by DaCapo Music producer and triple-platinum publisher, Jonell Polansky (Nashville) and veteran Catholic music conductor, Ed Archer (GIA Publishing). The workshops kickoff at 6:30pm and are the first of many to be hosted by Catholic Praise Records (CPR), the Catholic music industry's newest music production house and is sponsored by Liberty Noire Productions and World Library Publications/J.S. Paluch (WLP).

Over recent years, John Angotti's music has taken Catholic communities by storm as he has carried his music message on the road and across the globe, ministering to Catholic and interfaith Christian audiences of all ages. His hit recordings and compositions have become liturgical favorites in parishes nationwide with such contemporary Catholic music favorites as "I Send You Out," "Thanks & Praise," (voted 2005 United Catholic Music & Video Association Unity Awards-Best Praise and Worship Song of the Year), and the 2008 Los Angeles Archdiocese Religious Education Congress theme song, "Stand In The Light" among many other Catholic favorites. With his gutsy vocal style, much like that of Elton John or Billy Joel, John delivers a dynamic blend of contemporary rhythms and heart-stirring lyrics, that have garnered him such UCMVA awards as "Male Vocalist of the Year- Pop/Contemporary," and "Praise and Worship Album of the Year." His powerful voice and anointed ministry presence mixed with a fresh and contemporary writing style that includes contemporary rock, pop, and Latin rhythms, has made him one of the most relevant Catholic music artists of recent times.

Mr. Angotti, who is also a graduate of West Virginia University and the US Military School of Music, a full time "music missionary," and a veteran music ministry workshop presenter, will round out the CPR Music Ministry Workshop panel discussion before settling into the evening with a very intimate "Unplugged" music concert starting promptly at 8:00pm.
