WATERTOWN, MA (NOVEMBER 30, 2008) - On Tuesday, December 2nd, 2008 at 10:30AM (ET) CatholicTV's live program, "This is the Day" hosted by Father Robert Reed, Director and Jay Fadden, General Manager will welcome Joe Campo, Ann Dioniso and Barbara Waters into the CatholicTV living room..

Joe Campo is the Director of St. Francis House in Brooklyn, NY and a 3rd Order Franciscan. St. Francis house in Brooklyn was established in 1967 by Father Benedict Groeschel. St. Francis House reaches out to meet the needs of young men who, having run out of alternatives, are looking for a new start in life. Joe is also a producer at Grassroots Films . Fishers of Men, one of Grassroots productions has aired on CatholicTV. Joe will be discussing the work of St. Francis House and the needs of the community. Our in-studio guests are Ann Dionisio and Barbara Waters of the Pieta Group. Pieta reaches out and supports families who have lost a child. The group was established in 1985, by Fr. "Bill" Wolkovich, of the Boston Archdiocese, when he realized that there were many deaths of young people in his area. At this time, he was the spiritual advisor of a group of bereaved parents in Norwood called the "Pieta". This name was taken from Michaelangelo's famous sculpture of Mary holding her son Jesus in her arms. Several Pieta groups were started in parishes throughout New England. The most recent group was formed in the Worcester area. Everywhere, parents struggle with the loss of a child, no matter how old that child is.
