Catholic.net Aims to Form an Online Community Committed to Evangelize the Social World

New Haven, CT (MAY 7, 2008) - Catholic.net launches a new English version. The new Catholic.net has been designed to promote interaction among Catholics worldwide through information sharing and online interactive tools. Fundamentally Catholic.net serves as an online platform to build synergies among the various apostolic initiatives.

Catholic.net aims to form an online Catholic community committed to evangelize the social world by building up the Kingdom of Christ through their families, parishes, dioceses, and general communities.

Catholic.net is supported by the generosity of its donors, and the invaluable work of its volunteers who are religious and laypersons from congregations and movements faithful to the Magisterium.

What Is New
Church teaching Q&A, proactive advocacy for the pro-life cause and protection of the family, Scriptures, Church documents, daily saints, traditional Catholic prayers, devotionals, news and mainstream media watch, live online radio, daily Mass, formation on righteous stewardship are some of the new editorial offerings on the upcoming Catholic.net.

Most controversial topics like the defense of human life and family, chastity, homosexuality, parenting, genuine femininity, godly male leadership, and environmental preservation will also be part of the new editorial mix.

Practical tips on catholic education, catholic events, fitness, charity, religious vocations, married life and many other every day issues will also be highlighted in the new version.
