Celebrating the 200th anniversary of the translation of the holy relics of Saint Philomena from Rome to Mugnano Del Cardinale

Religious Program
Sunday 7th August 10:00 a.m.: Exposure of the Sacred Body of Saint Philomena, which will remain on the Major Altar until the 25th September

Solemn Celebration with the participation of the Choir of the

Cathedral of Avellino, directed by M. Carmine Santaniello and organist M. Maurizio Severino.

Tuesday 9th August 9:00 p.m.: Prayer vigil in preparation of the great event of the Bicentenary.

12:00 Midnight: Holy Mass.

Wednesday 10th August Celebration of the Anniversary of the Translation of the Sacred Body of Saint Philomena from Rome to Mugnano del Cardinale (Av) 10 August 1805 - 10 August 2005 with the participation of the worldwide devotees. 10:00 a.m.: Solemn Eucharistic celebration.

3:00 p.m.: Eucharistic blessing.

5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.: the Sacred Procession

8:30 p.m.: Solemn liturgical Celebration.

Thursday 11th August
10:00 a.m.: Solemn liturgical Celebration. Holy Masses

5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.: Sacred Procession.

8:30 p.m.: Solemn liturgical Celebration.

Friday 12th August 10:00 a.m.: Solemn liturgical Celebration. Holy Masses 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.: Sacred Procession.

6:00 a.m.: Holy Mass for the Battenti.

8:00 a.m.: Holy Mass for the pilgrims from Italy and abroad

9:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m.: The arrival of the Battenti.

12.30 am: Holy Mass

5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.: Sacred Procession

Monday 15th August 10:00 a.m.: Solemn liturgical Celebration of Saint Philomena; M. Antonio Ercolino will play the new Hymn of

Saint Philomena with the Cantorum Choir of the Sanctuary.

Sunday 28th August 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.: Consecration of the Children to Saint Philomena after the Holy Masses.
9:00 p.m.: Concert of the songs of Saint Philomena by the Choir of Alfaterna, directed by Maestri P. Paolo Saturno e P. Alfonso Vita Redemptorist of St. Alfonso dei Liguori.

Sunday 25th September the Sacred urn with the Body of Saint Philomena will be put back into her Chapel.
10:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.: Solemn liturgical Celebration.
