The CatholicTV Network Honors National NFP Awareness Week

Watertown, MA (July 16, 2014) - The CatholicTV Network ( will honor the USCCB designated Natural Family Planning (NFP) Awareness Week featuring Theology of the Body "Blink!" series with Jason Evert. On Friday,July 18th, an interview with Dr. Anne Tobak of The Saint Augustine Foundation based in Yonkers, New York will take place at 10:30 AM (ET) live from the CatholicTV studios.

Dr. Tobak will discuss the beauty and practicality of NFP. The theme for the 2014 Awareness Week is: Natural Family Planning: It's Worth It. Join the Revolution. Resources are available on the USCCB website:

The USCCB website shares that July 25th, marks the anniversary of the papal encyclical Humanae Vitae upon which articulates Catholic beliefs about human sexuality, conjugal love and responsible parenthood. The dates also mark the feast of Saints Joachim and Anne (July 26), the parents of the Blessed Mother.
