Fond du Lac, WI (September 1, 2011) - The Knights of Columbus, Fond du Lac and North Fond du Lac Councils are sponsoring the second annual Public Square Rosary Rally for America, in honor of our Lady of Fatima.

On Saturday, October 15, people across America will join simultaneously in thousands of locations across our nation in fervent prayer for America. The message of our Lady of Fatima was for all mankind to return to God, to make reparation for sins and to pray the Rosary for Peace.

All denominations are welcome to join us, as we pray for America, to CHANGE HEARTS through the power of prayer, Saturday, October 15 at 12 noon, at Veteran's Park, corner of Main Street and Western Avenue Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Last year's Rosary Rally drew over 100 people to Veterans Park to pray.

From the messages of our Lady of Fatima Saturday, October 13, 1917: "I am the Lady of the Rosary, I have come to warn the faithful to amend their lives and ask for pardon for their sins. They must not offend Our Lord any more, for He is already too grievously offended by the sins of men. People must say the Rosary. Let them continue saying it everyday."
America is at a historic crossroad. Secularists are trying to push God from the public square. They reject His beneficial action upon society. But without God, where will our leaders get the wisdom to solve the great problems we face?

Our goal is to counter the destructive secular agenda, asking God to guide every aspect of our society. As human efforts have failed to solve America's key problems, we ask His immediate help for our nation's leadership. He will hear our prayers, especially if we pray the Rosary of His Blessed Mother. Without prayer, and specifically the Rosary, we will not find solutions to our nation's many problems.

In The Secret of the Rosary, Saint Louis de Montfort states: "Public prayer is far more powerful than private prayer to appease the anger of God and call down His Mercy and Holy Mother Church, guided by the Holy Spirit, has always advocated public prayer in times of public tragedy and suffering."

Join the Rosary Rally for America, Saturday, October 15, 12 noon at Veterans Park in Fond du Lac, Bring a chair if needed. In case of inclement weather, the rally will be moved to St. Mary Church, corner of Merrill and Marquette Streets. Rosaries will be available.

Just think of the transformation God could accomplish if individuals and communities across our nation unite together in praying the Rosary for America.
